Frank C. Gover, P.E., is an application consultant for IC Compiler at Synopsys. He has 25 years of experience in the IC design industry and has three patents in the microprocessor design. Prior to Synopsys, he worked at Pyxis Technology Inc. as a senior director. Before Synopsys, he worked at Cadence Design Systems as a solutions architect in the core competency organization and at IBM Corp. as a microprocessor design engineer focusing on computer architecture, RTL to GDSII flow and transistor-level design. Frank holds a M.S. in engineering management from the University of Texas at Austin, a M.S. in computer engineering from the National Technological University at Fort Collins, Colo., and a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayaguez.
