The LTC5567, a 300 MHz to 4 GHz down-converting mixer with a 26.9 dBm IIP3, 294 mW power consumption, and 2.5 GHz IF bandwidth, has been developed by Linear Technology to support 4G wireless base stations and high dynamic range receiver applications. The device's 300 MHz to 4 GHz operating frequency range enables operation in any of the cellular bands from 700 MHz to 2.7 GHz. The mixer features a conversion gain of 1.9 dB and a noise figure of 11.8 dB. The IF output has a frequency range of 5 MHz to 2500 MHz, supporting wideband applications such as cable TV downlink transmitters and digital pre-distortion receivers. The LTC5567 comes in a compact 4 mm x 4 mm QFN package and is specified for case temperature operation from -40°C to 105°C. It is priced starting at $6.50 each/1,000.
