Designed to both test and emulate 2G, 3G, and 4G systems, the 3410 series RF signal generators boast of being the first instruments to combine full-digital vector and analog modulation in a 2U-size instrument. Also targeting private mobile radios, WLANs, and Bluetooth systems, the generators are available in frequency ranges from 250 kHz to 2 GHz, 250 kHz to 3 Ghz, and 250 kHz to 4 GHz. Features common to all three models include an RF level accuracy of ±0.5 dB, carrier and RF level switching speeds of less than 5 ms, USB 1.1 interfaces, and more than 30 different modulation combinations. An optional arbitrary waveform generator (ARB) with an interpolation filter design expands the generators’ capabilities to a modulation bandwidth of 45 MHz. Included software allows files to be downloaded to the ARB. Price for the 3410 starts at $16,800. IFR SYSTEMS, Wichita, KS. (800) 835-2352.
