Available in either open-frame or sealed designs and in 3-, 4- or 5-mm sizes, this expanded line of surface-mount trimmer potentiometers has cermet resistive elements rated from 10 ohms to 2 Megaohms. Environmental and performance testing to MIL-STD-202 and MIL-R-22097 ensures high reliability. Operating temperature range is -55°C to 125°C. Applications include computer peripherals, power supplies, test and measurement equipment, and a variety of entertainment and telecomm equipment.Series 3H and 3HJ 3-mm space-savers are designed for reflow soldering with rated power of 0.1W at 70°C. Terminations for open-frame, 4-mm 4H series pots boast of excellent solder heat resistance and high solder leaching resistance. The thin, 4-mm 4M series trimmers are sealed to withstand reflow/IR soldering and full immersion cleaning. Series 4G and 4J trimmers combine high performance and stability. And Series 5W and 5X 11-turn, 5-mm SMT trimmers have a clutch mechanism to prevent excessive wiper rotation.
