Embedded: Hard Real-Time Hypervisor Blends RTOS And OS

William Wong  |   ED Online ID #12472  |   May 11, 2006

The RT-Hypervisor targets the latest Intel CPUs with VT-x virtualization support. RTHypervisor can meld a real-time operating system (RTOS) and a high-level operating system such as Windows XP or Linux, providing each with a protected execution partition on a dedicated processor core in a multicore environment. Its early boot technology can virtualize some or all of the interfaces used by the operating systems. Contact the company for licensing information. ED ONLINE 12472
