Embedded: Print Circuits On Almost Any Substrate With Standard Gerber Files

William Wong  |   ED Online ID #12473  |   May 11, 2006

The DMP-2800 materials deposition system is easier to use now that it can handle standard Gerber layout files with the Gerber File Import (GFI) software. The new support also handles bitmap files. With the GFI, the DMP-2800 printer can handle all popular pc-board layout packages at resolutions up to 5080 dots per inch (5-µm droplet pitch). The DMP-2800 also can be used for a wide range of applications in addition to putting circuits on a flexible surface. Pricing for the software starts at $1000. ED ONLINE 12473
