4-Ch 500 MSPS/14 Bit ADC Feature Xilinx Kintex FPGA

May 9, 2013
500 MSPS/14 bit Xilinx Kintex-7 FPGA-based XMC card provides system integrators with high-performance analog I/O module.

The XF07-518 ADC is the latest in Curtiss-Wright’s family of Xilinx Kintex-7 FPGA-based XMC cards for high-end defense and aerospace applications. The 500 MSPS/14 bit card provides system integrators with a high-performance analog I/O module designed for applications requiring double the bandwidth of the previous module. With its high speed quad-channel 500 MSPS analog input XMC (ANSI/VITA 42) mezzanine card, featuring an onboard user-programmable Xilinx Kintex XC7K325T FPGA for combining data acquisition and user algorithms, the device is suited for radar and imaging processing and test equipment in the commercial and defense markets. The card supports two banks of 128 Mx16 bit DDR3 SDRAM, each directly connected to the FPGA, and a x4/x8 PCIe channel through the primary XMC P15 connector using the FPGA’s built-in PCIe end-point block. The FusionXF development kit includes software, HDL and utilities. The kit also includes a C programming language API, driver framework, DMA support, and VxWorks and Linux Fedora are supported with additional operating systems considered upon request.
