Designed for the medical imaging market, the ADS5120 is said to be the industry’s first A/D converter to deliver simultaneous conversion of up to eight differential analog signals. The device performs simultaneous conversions at rates up to 40 Msamples/s with a 10-bit resolution. Other features include differential 1V signaling, a crosstalk of 67 dB, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of 57 dB, distortion of 9.3 bits, and a typical power consumption of 85 mW per channel.
