An integrated headphone/line-out amplifier, the TS4604 integrates a 100 mW stereo headphone output and a driver for the audio line-out connection. It also integrates charge-pump circuitry supplying negative voltage to the amplifiers, meaning only a single 3V to 4.8V external power supply is needed to sustain the amplifier's output signal, which can be up to 2 Vrms. Other features include a 1% THD+N 2-Vrms stereo line-driver output voltage at all supply voltages, a 5 mA quiescent current for both functions, 1-µA shutdown current, 30 ms wake-up, and a 90 dB PSRR on the headset and line driver outputs.
