Enlarging the company’s portfolio of Class D amplifiers, the TDA7498 embarks as an analog-input, 2 x 100W class-D power amplifier that targets DVD and Blu-ray players, home theater, active speakers, and docking stations.

Enlarging the company’s portfolio of Class D amplifiers, the TDA7498 embarks as an analog-input, 2 x 100W class-D power amplifier that targets DVD and Blu-ray players, home theater, active speakers, and docking stations. Pin compatible with the TDA7492 2 x 50W, 2 x 80W TDA7498L, and 100W mono TDA7498MV amplifiers, the TDA7498 can be externally synchronized, thus saving external components and avoiding cross-channel interference. Other features include a 10.3 mm x 7.5 mm package outline, supply voltage range from 10V to 39V, up to 90% operating efficiency, 10% THD + N at full power into a 6? speaker load, pop-free mute control, and four selectable gain settings of 25.6dB, 31.6dB, 35.1dB, and 37.6dB.
