Quite comfortable with high-impedance sources, the LM6211 20-MHz operational amplifier works with a single supply voltage range from 5V to 24V and a 0.5 pA input bias current. Of particular interest in wireless and sensor interface applications, the device specifies an input voltage noise of 5.5 nV/√Hz at 10 kHz, input current noise of 10 fA/√Hz, and an operating-current consumption of less than 1 mA. Other features include guaranteed performance from -40°C to +125°C, output short-circuit protection that limits current to 25 mA, slew rate of 5.6 V/µs, and a rail-to-rail output stage that remains stable with capacitive loads up to 500 pF. Available in a SOT23-5 package, price is $1.19 each/1,000. NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR CORP., Santa Clara, CA. (800) 272-9959.
