Designed for use in compact, battery-powered devices, such as cell phones, PDAs, electronic notebooks, and digital cameras, the S-8943xA/B series rail-to-rail, CMOS operational amplifiers feature a quiescent current of 0.5 µA. The devices provide an input and output voltage range of 0.9V to 5.5V, allowing them to be driven at a lower voltage and with lower current consumption than most general-purpose op amps. Input offset voltage is specified as 5 mV maximum and slew rate is 5 V/ms at 3V. The S-8943xA series consists of one device that employs a single circuit in a five-pin SC-88A package. The S-8943xB series is a dual op amp that employs two circuits in an 8-pin SON(A) or MSOP. Depending on the device, prices range from $0.26 to $0.53 each/10,000.
