Rated for a switched-load power handling capability of 70W, the ZX5T2E6 PNP bipolar transistor is packaged in the SOT-23-6, which has a footprint of less than 3 mm2 and a maximum height of 1.45 mm. The company?s new bipolar process produces a very low saturation voltage (VCE(sat)) from reduced geometry resistances. At a collector current of 3.5A, VCE(sat) is a maximum of 130 mV, yielding an Rsat of 37 m?. The high hFE, 300 at a collector current of 1A, minimizes base drive requirements.
