Dubbed the industry’s highest accuracy d/a converter, the DAC9881 delivers 18-bit monotonic performance, a ±2 LSB integral nonlinearity, and a ±1 LSB differential nonlinearity. Built on the company’s analog CMOS process technology, the single-channel, voltage-output converter also packs a low-noise output buffer, which reduces the number of necessary external components. The device supports a SPI capable of operating with input-clock frequencies up to 50 MHz, allowing it to interface with popular DSPs, MCUs, and FPGAs.
