Expanding the CeraDiode 0402 and 0603 product lines, the latest offerings report low capacitances with typical values of 0.6 pF, making them suitable for ESD-protection chores on high-speed data lines such as USB, Ethernet, FireWire, eSATA, and HDMI.

Expanding the CeraDiode 0402 and 0603 product lines, the latest offerings report low capacitances with typical values of 0.6 pF, making them suitable for ESD-protection chores on high-speed data lines such as USB, Ethernet, FireWire, eSATA, and HDMI. The 0402 and 0603 case sizes correspond to Zener and TVS diode case sizes SOD-723 and SOD-523, making them one-to-one replacements. The diodes specify a response time of less than 0.5 ns and exhibit no temperature derating up to an operating temperature of +85°C. Response voltage is 5.6 Vdc and the Types CDS2C05HDMI1 (0402) and CDS3C05HDMI (0603) pass HDMI 1.3-compliance testing. Pricing varies considerably depending on type and quantity.
