This hermetically-sealed package is specifically designed to permit easy paralleling of components such as radiation-hardened MOSFETs and Schottky diodes with current ratings up to 75A. The package, called SMD-3, has nominal dimensions of 0.690" x 0.525" x 0.142" and offers junction-to-case thermal resistances of better than 0.42 K/W. The SMD-3 package is compatible with all JANTX and JANS certification requirements for all component types. The parts meet full space-level qualification and are RAD tested to 100 K(Si).
