Offered in a plastic DO-5 package, the 105PF40T takes on heavy-duty industrial applications with voltage and current ratings of 400V and 105A, respectively. Its glass-passivated chip resides in a threaded, stud-mount plastic package designed to simplify heatsink mounting. A single-hole mount accommodates multiple diode assemblies such as bridge rectifier circuits. The diode exhibits a typical peak forward voltage of 0.98V at 200A and a thermal resistance of 0.25°C/W. According to the company, comparable devices have higher thermal resistances in the realm of 0.35°C/W to 0.40°C/W. Pricing begins at $4 each/1,000.
