HV Analog Switch Replaces Relays With Room To Spare

Dec. 22, 2011
The HV2808 thirty-two channel, high-voltage analog switch IC replaces electromechanical relays performing probe selection functions.

The HV2808 thirty-two channel, high-voltage analog switch IC replaces electromechanical relays performing probe selection functions. In addition to taking up less space than its electromechanical counterpart, it emits no audible noise and increases system reliability. The HV2808 serves as a sixteen-pole, double throw (16PDT), high voltage switch array.  Other features include a quiescent current of 10 mA, DC analog signal frequency to 50 MHz, and the ability to switch from one probe to another in about 30 ms.” Available in a 56-lead QFN package, pricing for the HV2808K6-G is $12.54 each/1,000.
