The UL 02 15 2, UL 04 17 1, and the UL 03 19 1 amorphous infrared detectors claim to exhibit the smallest pixel size available, specified at 25 µm. Measuring 16.6 mm x 16.5 mm x 4.2 mm and weighing less than 5g, the UL 02 15 2 has a 160 x 120 pixel array, thermal time constant of less than 7 ms, CMOS read-out circuit, a 70% area fill factor, and an 8 µm to 14 µm spectral response. Operating temperature range is from -40°C to +60°C and typical operability is greater than 99.9%. The UL 04 17 1 sports a 640 x 480 pixel array, operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, signal response of 7 mV/K, and operability and standard deviation identical to the UL 02 15 2. Weighing less than 30g, overall dimension excluding pins is 32 mm x 23.5 mm x 7.4 mm.
