Enhancing HSPA and LTE system performance, the MAX2666 and MAX2668 low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) employ three programmable gain states, allowing dynamic adjustment of linearity and sensitivity. In the face of adjacent-signal interference, users can boost gain to maintain optimum blocker performance. Both devices deliver 15 dB of gain, specify a 1-dB noise figure, and operate over the I, IV, V, VI, VII, and X UMTS bands. Operating from a 2.7V to 3.3V supply, the devices typically consume an operating current of 3.8 mA and less than 100 µA in the lowest gain mode.
