Deemed the industry's most stable, the LMH6703 op amp operates at frequencies up to 1.2 GHz, a feature said to make it less dependent on PC-board layout. It also claims the highest large-signal bandwidth at 2 Vp-p at 750 MHz. Features include a slew rate of 4.5 kV/µs, shutdown function, 0.1 dB gain flatness out to 150 MHz, and a second/third harmonic distortion of -87/-100 dBc at 5 MHz. Reporting improved gain accuracy, the LMH6704 650-MHz, programmable-gain buffer provides internal gain-setting resistors, allowing users to set the gain at -1, +1, or +2. The device also provides a shutdown feature and specifies a 0.1 dB gain flatness out to 200 MHz and second/third harmonic distortion figures of -62/-78 dBc at 10 MHz. Available in SOIC-8 or SOT23-6 packages, price for either the LMH6703 or LMH6704 is $1.49 each/1,000. NATIONAL SEMICONDUCTOR CORP., Santa Clara, CA. (800) 272-9959.
