Reportedly unique, the MCP62x5 op amps integrate a standard two-stage amplifier into an eight-lead package with a power-saving chip select. Internally connecting two stages allows one amp to feed the other, resulting in a more compact design. The devices are rail-to-rail I/O op amps, operating over the industrial temperature range. The MCP6275 provides a 2-MHz gain bandwidth and operates at 5.5V to 2V with a supply current of 165 µA. The MCP6285 provides a 5-MHz gain bandwidth and operates at 5.5V to 2.2V with a supply current of 450 µA. And the MCP6295 offers a 10 MHz gain bandwidth and operates at 5.5V to 2.4V with a supply current of 1 mA. Available in MSOPs, prices for the MCP6275, MCP6285, and MCP6295 are $0.58, $0.65, and $0.71 each/1,000, respectively. MICROCHIP TECHNOLOGY INC., Chandler, AZ. (888) 628-6247.
