Delivering what the company calls best-in-class noise immunity, the 2.5A-output FOD3120 and 1A FOD3150 gate drive optocouplers allegedly achieve the industry's highest CMR rating and can easily drive 1.2 kV/20A IGBTs and MOSFETs. The devices also offer tight pulse width distortion, in the realm of 100 ns, allowing for smaller filters. With a 1,414V peak working voltage, the optocouplers are also able to accommodate high voltage IGBTs. Both devices employ lead-free terminals and meet moisture-sensitivity requirements in accordance with the joint IPC/JEDEC standard J-STD-020.
