The PSxxxx series digital-output optocouplers operate at speeds up to 10 Mb/s, making them suitable for use in industrial communications applications. In a 5-pin SOP, the PS9117 specifies a maximum pulse-width distortion of 35 ns, minimum common mode transient immunity of ±15 kV/µs, and 2.5 kVRMS of isolation, 8-mm creepage, and a typical pulse-width distortion of 3 ns. The L version is a lead-bending package suitable for surface mounting. CALIFORNIA EASTERN LABORATORIES, Santa Clara, CA. (408) 988-3500.
