The ACPL-071L, ACPL-074L, and ACPL-M75L CMOS optocouplers operate with supply voltages of +3.3V and +5V at a minimum speed of 15 Mb/s and, reportedly, support the industry’s typical widest operating temperature range from -40°C to +105°C. Targeting harsh industrial environments, the single-channel ACPL-071L/M75L and dual-channel ACPL 074L integrate a feature similar to under voltage lock-out to prevent any output disruption in case of power-supply loss or recovery. The devices come in SO-5 and SO-8 packages and carry international safety approvals. Unveiled as the industry’s smallest 2.5A gate-drive optocoupler, the ACPL-K312 comes in a stretched SO-8 package and provides 8-mm creepage and 8-mm clearance, which allegedly reduces board space up to 40% when compared to standard 300-mil DIPs. Features include a power consumption of 3 mA, CMR of 15 kV/µs at a Vcm of 1.5 kV, operating temperature range from -40°C to +100°C, and under-voltage lock out. Prices for the ACPL-071L, ACPL-074L, and ACPL-M75L are $1.56, $2.88, and $1.50 each/10,000, respectively. Pricing for the ACPL-K312 begins at $1.67 each/10,000 piece quantities.
