Output Buffer/Amplifier Delivers DAQ Attack

May 10, 2010
Ready for use with Cube and RACKtangle I/O systems in DAQ apps, the PD-AO-AMP-115 16-channel, 115V analog output buffer amplifier shines where the standard ±10V of most analog output cards is not sufficient.

Ready for use with Cube and RACKtangle I/O systems in DAQ apps, the PD-AO-AMP-115 16-channel, 115V analog output buffer amplifier shines where the standard ±10V of most analog output cards is not sufficient. The DIN-mountable accessory connects directly to DNR-AO-308 and DNA-AO-308 cards. Setting the card gain and the external panel with the appropriate values, the output level of any channel can be independently set to levels as high as ±110V. Software provided with the system includes support for Windows, Linux, QNX, VxWorks, and other operating systems. Windows/Vista software comes in the UEIDAQ Framework, which provides a comprehensive API supporting all popular programming languages including LabVIEW, MATLAB/Simulink, DASYLab, or any application supporting ActiveX, OPC or Modbus TCP control. Price for the PD-AO-AMP-115 is $7,365. Also available, the PD-AO-AMP-ENCL optional enclosure costs $440. UNITED ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIES INC., Canton, MA. (800) 829-4632.
