Groomed for lighting ballasts and switching power supplies, the company’s latest power MOSFETs employ SuperMESH3 technology to boost efficiency, reliability, and safety. The first SuperMESH3 devices include the 620V STD6N62K3 plus the 525V STD7N52K3 and STD6N52K3 specifying on resistances of 1.28 Ohms and 0.98 Ohms, respectively. The technology also promises to reduce reverse-recovery time, gate charge, and intrinsic capacitance, leading to better switching performance and enabling higher operating frequencies. Other reported features include best-in-class dv/dt behaviors and Zener protection. The STx6N62K3 is available in IPAK, DPAK, TO-220, and TO-220FP packages, priced from $0.62 each/1,000.
