RF Power FET Gets Comfortable In Cellular Mart

The LX401 60-W LDMOS RF power FET is specifically designed for the 1-GHz cellular market. The device is not internally matched and is claimed to be able to perform with increased gain down to 1 MHz. It is available in flanged (LX401) or flangeless (LX401FL) surface-mount versions. It is said that these FETs are ideal for high-gain broadband commercial or military power amplifiers.
