Specified to swing within 1 mV of the positive rail and ground operating from a single supply as low as 1.8V, the MIC7111 operational amplifier, which comes in the firm's IttyBitty package, has a typical supply current of 15 µA. These devices are well suited for battery-powered applications such as GaAs RF power amplifier biasing, battery charger current sensing and transducer linearization. With a supply voltage of 1.8V, the gain bandwidth is 25 kHz with 15-mV/µs slew rate and typical input offset voltage of 900 µV. As a result, the device is a candidate for many low-speed conditioning applications in battery operated and portable wireless communications applications.
