Crowned by its maker as the world’s smallest, the L3G3250A three-axis gyroscope measures 3.5 mm x 3 mm x 1 mm. The device offers two user-selectable full scales – 625 or 2,500 degrees per second (dps) with sensitivities of 2 mV/dps and 0.5 mV/dps, respectively. Other features include an embedded self-test function, a supply voltage range from 2.4V to 3.6V, embedded power-down and sleep modes, a low pass and high pass filter reset function, and high shock survivability.
