Look Out For Electronic Design Europe’s Oct. 11th Edition

In this issue we look at how companies have developed high voltage subscriber line interface circuits (SLICs) which control the ring and voice transmission for broadband access and phone systems.

In this issue we look at how companies have developed high voltage subscriber line interface circuits (SLICs) which control the ring and voice transmission for broadband access and phone systems. Some have recommendations for applying the supply voltages to their devices in a particular sequence. How are these sequences achieved? We examine a flyback converter design with a multi-tapped transformer and an inexpensive sequencing circuit implementation to power up the multiple rails in a defined sequence.
