MCU Applications Engineer, Texas Instruments
Evan Wakefield is a new product development applications engineer in the microcontroller business unit at Texas Instruments (TI). Over the past three years at TI, he has helped drive the development and growth of new products in the MSP430 FRAM & ARM portfolios, responsible for the SoC and whole-product definition, creation, lead customer support, and management of various customer-facing collaterals and marketing activities for new silicon development projects. He has also worked as a field applications engineer for customers in America and supported the Texas Instruments LaunchPad ecosystem.
He received his MSEE from Southern Methodist University (SMU) in 2014, focused in computer engineering and electromagnetics, and his BS in both electrical engineering and applied mathematics from SMU in 2013.
