Gene Malone, a Product Manager for TE Connectivity (TE), is responsible for the Managed Connectivity portfolio within TE’s Enterprise Networks business unit. Gene leads business development and go-to-market strategy for TE’s Quareo System, AMPTRAC, and Infrastructure Configuration Manager software solutions, and has vast management experience within the telecommunications industry, in the design, installation, and support functions.
Gene served in the U.S. Army, where he documented, installed, and maintained secure-communication systems with a TS-SITKG clearance. While in the army, he earned a degree in information systems from the University of Maryland. He subsequently earned a degree in management of technology from Kennedy Western University. Gene has worked in the telecommunications industry since 1983 and holds an RCDD certificate.
