Julia Truchsess is president of Pragmatic Designs Inc. She has been designing electronic musical instruments, toys, consumer products, toys, and automatic test equipment professionally since 1976. She created the first line of low-cost electronic percussion instruments, was involved with the first musical greeting cards, pioneered the use of low-cost voice ICs in toys, invented and marketed one of the first digital picture frames, and has been granted several U.S. patents.
