Qualified to AEC-Q100 standards, the AUIRS2003S is a rugged, flexible, high-speed power MOSFET driver with dependent high- and low-side referenced output channels tailored for use in harsh automotive environments and under-the-hood applications. The device is suited for low-, mid-, and high-voltage automotive power-train and battery-management circuits, including pre-charge switch and stepper drives and dc-dc converters. The output drivers include a high-pulse-current buffer stage designed for minimum driver cross-conduction while the floating channel can be used to drive an N-channel power MOSFET in the high-side configuration operating up to 200 V. The device’s low quiescent current enables a low-cost bootstrap power supply for the high-side circuitry. The AUIRS2003S features a high-side output in phase with the input signal and a low-side output out of phase with the input signal. The device accepts input logic levels of 3.3, 5, and 15 V with standard CMOS or LSTTL outputs. A comprehensive set of protection features includes under-voltage lockout, dead-time protection, and negative voltage spike (Vs) immunity to protect against catastrophic events during high-current switching and short-circuit conditions. The lead-free and RoHS-compliant AUIRS2003S comes in an 8-pin SOIC package with a starting price of $0.55 each in quantities of 100,000. Production orders are available immediately.
