Automation Alley Technology Center (www.automationalley.com) member company 3IS has received funding from Automation Alley and other private equity sources and plans to launch its Web-based automotive electronics search engine-database service by or before the fourth quarter.

Automation Alley Technology Center member company 3IS has received funding from Automation Alley and other private equity sources and plans to launch its Web-based automotive electronics search engine-database service by or before the fourth quarter. The service promises to identify the public and private domain source of key technical, commercial and market trend information and make that information available in a database. Chief executive officer John Cain said 3IS has also secured a strategic partnership with Menlo Innovations for equity and software development services.
