July 5, 2007
Amerigon Incorporated (www.amerigon.com) said its thermoelectric technology subsidiary BSST (www.bsst.com) has reached agreement with Visteon Corporation (www.visteon.com) to modify what had been an exclusive development arrangement.

Amerigon Inc. said its thermoelectric technology subsidiary BSST has reached agreement with Visteon Corporation to modify what had been an exclusive development arrangement. BSST will purchase certain Visteon rights to thermoelectric systems technology and grant Visteon a fully paid, royalty-free license to use the technology. BSST, in turn, can license the technology to a limited number of additional automotive suppliers.

Amerigon non-executive chairman Oscar (Bud) Marx said the new agreement preserves BSST’s ability to continue working with Visteon and permits the company to explore broader use of its proprietary automotive heating and cooling technology.
