Audiovox, INViSiON settle patent infringement suit

Audiovox Corporation (www.audiovox.com) said it reached a settlement agreement with INViSiON Industries (www.invisionindustries.com) in a patent infringement suit that Audiovox filed earlier this year.

Audiovox Corporation said it reached a settlement agreement with INViSiON Industries in a patent infringement suit that Audiovox filed earlier this year. The suit involved headrest-mounted, rear-seat entertainment systems for automobiles.

Audiovox will receive payment for past damages, an ongoing royalty fee for future business, and an exclusive license on related patents from Christopher Vitito, the principal of INViSiON and owner of patents for additional mobile video technology.
