Bosch introduces airbag ECU

Robert Bosch Corporation has introduced a new airbag electronic control unit (ecu), Airbag 10, that consists of fewer components than its predecessors, and is nearly 70% smaller.

Robert Bosch Corporation has introduced a new airbag electronic control unit (ecu), Airbag 10, that consists of fewer components than its predecessors, and is nearly 70% smaller. The ECU can be integrated with up to 24 restraint devices and can be integrated with pedestrian protection electronics and interior occupant sensors.

OEM deliveries are planned for 2007.
