Caesar Datensysteme (www.caesar-datensysteme.de) has developed a decentralized measurement concept that makes the “re-adjustment” that is frequently required during the development of a motor vehicle considerably simpler. The system is called QIC-CAR and is a compact and intelligent measuring computer for use in motor vehicles. The computer can be configured quickly and simply, with the measurement results being evaluated within a short time. This can be done particularly through wireless technologies such as WLAN and GSM with which, for example, measurement data can be sent directly from the vehicle to the laboratory and modified measurement configurations restored. The QIC-CAR PC is a compact and intelligent measuring computer that can even withstand extreme impacts.
