Circular Connector Bonds Strongly To Glass

This two-piece circular connector is designed to provide interconnects for transmitting power and signal on automotive glass. The connector uses a pre-soldered clad metal that, when applied, claims to produce a stronger bond to glass. The company also manufacturers small footprint molded mating parts, including an RG58 coaxial connector, allowing automotive glass engineers the flexibility to design more on-glass connections. The circular connector is pre-soldered and pre-fluxed and comes in loose pieces or on a carrier for automated processing. It is available in brass, tin-plated or silver-plated versions.
