Hughes Telematics Inc. (www.hughestelematics.com) subsidiary Networkcar (www.networkcar.com) has received a 2006 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for Technology Innovation (www.frost.com) in automotive emissions monitoring based on Networkcar’s remote smog check technology.

Hughes Telematics Inc. subsidiary Networkcar has received a 2006 North American Frost & Sullivan Award for Technology Innovation in automotive emissions monitoring based on Networkcar’s remote smog check technology.

The feature, part of Networkcar’s Networkfleet wireless vehicle management system, combines GPS location tracking with diagnostic monitoring to reduce operating costs for commercial fleets. The feature continuously monitors vehicle emissions and sends reports to vehicle owners.
