Garmin selects Traffic.com for mobile real-time traffic data

Garmin International (www.garmin.com) has selected Traffic.com (www.traffic.com) to provide real-time traffic information in the United States to the Garmin Mobile 20, an automotive GPS navigation system that uses Bluetooth technology to deliver voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions to users of Nokia, Windows Mobile, and Treo smartphones.

Garmin International has selected Traffic.com to provide real-time traffic information in the United States to the Garmin Mobile 20, an automotive GPS navigation system that uses Bluetooth technology to deliver voice-prompted, turn-by-turn directions to users of Nokia, Windows Mobile, and Treo smartphones. The partnership will also give advertisers the opportunity to reach Mobile 20 customers every time they calculate a route or request traffic information.
