Hella acquires visual sensor systems supplier Aglaia; names division head

Hella KGaA Hueck & Company (www.hella.com) has acquired visual sensor systems supplier Aglaia GmbH (www.aglaia-gmbh.de).

Hella KGaA Hueck & Company has acquired visual sensor systems supplier Aglaia GmbH. Terms weren’t disclosed. Aglaia employs approximately 30 people and had sales of €2.5 million last year.

Hella also named Jean-Francois Tarabbia managing director of its automotive electronics division and added him to the company's management board. Tarabbia was chief operating officer of Siemens VDO Automotive AG and head of its body and chassis electronics division. He also was responsible for Siemens' European and Asian vehicle manufacturer business.
