Hyundai Motor America, which currently offers HD radio technology on its Genesis model, is expanding deployment of the technology to other vehicles in the 2011 model year. HD is a standard factory-installed feature on Genesis models equipped with navigation systems. For the 2010 model year, Hyundai will make HD available on select Genesis models without the navigation feature. iBiquity Digital Corporation said that more than 1,800 HD Radio stations are currently on the air and over 900 multicast FM channels are available.
