Inclinometer Is Hermetically Sealed

Dec. 1, 1999

The Spectrotilt hermetically sealed tilt sensor and hybrid circuits are epoxy sealed into a rugged splashproof aluminum housing ready for easy installation. The sensor is fabricated from ceramic materials and thick-film technology that results in less than 1 mA dissipation, less than 0.5% full scale accuracy, less than 0.05° repeatability, and less than 0.1%/° C thermal stability over a ±60° range. Sensor has a ratiometric or analog output, and an EMI shield along with size and mounting configurations conform to industry demands for applications such as construction road grading, automotive wheel alignment, antenna positioning and more.
