Automotive power management systems supplier iQ POWER AG (www.iqpower.com) will build a factory in Dortmund, Germany capable of producing 500,000 units per year.

Automotive power management systems supplier iQ POWER AG will build a factory in Dortmund, Germany capable of producing 500,000 units per year. The firm selected Dortmund because of the city’s concentration of automotive firms and its research and development infrastructure. Peter Braun, president of iQ POWER’s board of directors, said the city is building a center for manufacturing and production technology next to iQ POWER’s new factory.
