LeCroy scope decodes CAN serial data

April 27, 2006
A Vehicle Bus Analyzer from LeCroy Corporation (www.lecroy.com/tm/solutions/automotive/) is said to decode controller area network (CAN) serial data into application layer text, thus providing engineers with a full range of CAN protocol stack information (symbolic, hex, and electrical signal) and with the ability to view additional in-circuit electrical signals that influence the CAN bus, such as sensor inputs, voltage levels, and transients.

Up to four different CAN buses can be decoded at once.
