Moshe Gavrielov has been named president and chief executive officer of Xilinx, Inc. (www.xilinx.com), succeeding Willem P. Roelandts, who remains chairman of the board.

Moshe Gavrielov has been named president and chief executive officer of Xilinx, Inc., succeeding Willem P. Roelandts, who remains chairman of the board. Gavrielov had been executive vice president and general manager of the verification division at Cadence Design Systems and before that was chief executive officer of Verisity Ltd., which was acquired by Cadence.
