Verizon Wireless (www.verizonwireless.com) has selected NAVTEQ (www.navteq.com) Traffic Mobile to power the new traffic application on its newest VZ Navigator (Version 4) service.

Verizon Wireless has selected NAVTEQ Traffic Mobile to power the new traffic application on its newest VZ Navigator (Version 4) service.

Verizon is the first wireless provider to feature NAVTEQ Traffic Mobile. With the newest version of Verizon’s VZ Navigator application, customers can access NAVTEQ's live traffic data on their mobile devices and receive continuously updated real-time traffic information in more than 75 cities across the U.S., including visual notification of incidents and congestion that allow drivers to see potential traffic delays and avoid traffic problems.
